Some details deviating from reality
Building was started on Palazzo Boncompagni , the residence of the Pope's family, in 1537 by his father next to the cathedral of Bologna. It is shown with a gilded roof like the ecclesiastical buildings and is structured according to the plans, while in reality it was only partly built.
