The first multimedia software appears in the ë90s
During the ë90s, thanks to the fact that hardware and software had become widely used and available products, historians were able, sometimes with difficulty, to learn how to use the tools which would support their research with accurate source processing.
However, there was a new development in the tools available: multimedia applications. These opened new horizons in research, in terms of both presentation and methods for involving others through teaching.
